On April 7, 2000, Stuart's Place Deli joined Shoppers Union as the 100th Participating Business. With 101 locally-owned, independent businesses now offering savings to members every day of the year, it shouldn't be too hard for members to save far more than the $1.67 per month cost of their membership. I don't know how many businesses have to be involved before this idea catches on with shoppers. Got any suggestions to help this idea grow?
